Author Biography
Bob Grant was an animator at the Disney studios from 1935-1938 and drew Disney newspaper strips such as Scamp and Silly Symphonies until 1968.
Al Taliaferro was born in Montrose, Colorado in 1905 and moved with his family to Glendale, California in 1918. He was hired by Disney in 1931 and after inking Floyd Gottfredson’s Mickey Mouse strip, went on to draw the Silly Symphonies Sunday page, where he first drew Donald Duck, the character with whom he would become forever associated.
Hank Porter was a staff artist at Disney from 1935-1950, who created the newspaper strip adaptations of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs and Pinocchio.
